Prevention of Malpractices Code

Prevention of Malpractices Code

The Prevention of Malpractices Code is an essential component of Power 100 and is designed to ensure transparency and prevent any misconduct within the league. The Managing Committee of Power 100 has introduced this code to maintain high ethical standards and create a fair environment for all participants.

This code establishes guidelines and procedures for participants, including players and team officials, to maintain proper conduct and prevent any actions that could compromise the integrity of Power 100.

Conduct of Participants:

All participants involved in Power 100 are required to strictly adhere to the provisions of the Prevention of Malpractices Code. This includes providing consent for the collection, processing, and use of information related to their activities within Power 100.

Participants must familiarize themselves with the code’s requirements and comply with them, acknowledging the authority of the Managing Committee and the Disciplinary Committee.

During the Power 100 duration, participants must uphold the code’s standards, and the decisions of the Managing Committee and Disciplinary Committee shall be considered final and binding.

No participant shall engage in any conduct that goes against the spirit of cricket, whether on or off the field.

The conduct prohibited under this code may also constitute violations of applicable laws in India. While this code supplements those laws, participants must always comply with local laws and regulations.

Offences under this Prevention of Malpractices Code:

The code outlines various offenses that are considered violations if committed during a match or in connection with Power 100, including:

  • Providing false information during registration
  • Attempting to influence or manipulate league operations
  • Violating the Code of Conduct
  • Misuse of confidential or inside information
  • Any act that compromises the integrity of the league

Sanctions:

The Management Committee or Disciplinary Committee shall determine whether an offense has occurred under this code.

They have full authority to impose sanctions based on the severity of the offense, including suspension or termination of participation rights in Power 100.

All decisions made by the committees shall be final and binding on all stakeholders.

Amendment and Interpretation:

The Prevention of Malpractices Code may be amended from time to time by Power 100, with such amendments taking effect on the specified date.

Headings used in this code are for guidance only and do not affect the interpretation of the provisions.

If any provision is found to be invalid, unenforceable, or illegal, the remaining parts of the code shall continue to remain in full force.
